About Jen Jenivive

People started sending me messages. Photos of their mum crying laughing. Videos of them reading my books out loud at parties and completely losing it. Somebody met me at Pride, bought three, and their whole group ended up taking turns reading them to each other. That sort of thing will keep you writing.

120 books later, here we are.

They look like children's books. They are very much not children's books. Every one is stuffed with innuendo that goes straight over a child's head and lands squarely on yours.

Pick one up because you're having a rubbish week and need twenty minutes of being daft. Buy one for a friend who deserves a laugh. Buy one for your nan and watch her face.

Whatever you do with them, they do the job.

I'm still writing from my humble little office. I still write every single one myself. And I still get a bit giddy every time somebody tells me one of my books made them laugh until they couldn't breathe.
